Who we are

A southern African energy company built for the long haul.

Established in December 2006 as a BBBEE trading company in the South African oil market, Makwande Energy Trading began trading crude oil and refined products in January 2007. In 2009 we launched Makwande Supply and Distribution to take the next step downstream — moving fuel by road tanker, end to end.

Today, the group combines a disciplined trading desk with an HSEQ-compliant logistics arm, anchored in Sandton and serving customers across the region. We grow by doing the work properly — every barrel, every kilometre, every shift.
